KidsAccount is made by one person, so your email goes straight to a human. Include your device and iOS version if something is broken — it makes problems much faster to track down.
What KidsAccount is
KidsAccount gives children aged 5–14 their own simulated Spending and Savings accounts, savings goals, and allowances, so they can build money habits in a space parents fully control.
The money is not real. The app is not a bank, is not connected to any bank, and never touches real funds or card numbers. Every balance in it is practice.
Common questions
How does my child get set up?
You add them from your own device, then generate a join code. Their device scans it and they are in. Children never create an account, never sign in, and never need an email address or password.
What name should I use for my child?
A nickname. A color, a fruit, whatever they answer to. The app never needs a real name and nothing checks it — it is just a label so you can tell your children apart.
Is my child's information safe?
We collect as little as possible: no date of birth, no age, no email address, and no password for any child. There is no advertising and no analytics or tracking software in the app. Our Privacy Policy lists everything we hold and why.
What does it cost?
Your first parent account and first child account are free, with all features included. Additional children and parents are one-time purchases — never a subscription, and yours to keep. See pricing.
I want my data deleted
You can delete a child from inside the app, which removes their data. To remove your whole family and account, email us and we will take care of it.
Something is broken
Email us with what happened, what you expected instead, and your device and iOS version. A screenshot helps if there is something to see.
